How to Make a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

Every homeowner who reaches Commonotherwise Septic should get a fair and honest experience. If that did not happen, tell us. This page shows how to complain and what comes next. It is a general template. It is not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You can write to us about:

  • Your experience when you phoned or contacted Commonotherwise Septic
  • How your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this site that looks unclear or wrong
  • How a provider we connected you with behaved

If the Problem Is With a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own quotes, prices, work and customer service. If the issue is work on your septic system, sewer line or plumbing, start with the provider. Raise it with them directly. Keep a written record.

Still tell us. Feedback helps us keep the network honest. Providers who keep falling short may be removed. Know the limits, though. Commonotherwise Septic cannot settle contract disputes. We cannot refund a provider's work. We cannot make decisions for a provider.

Sending Your Complaint

Email contact@commonotherwise.garden. Please include:

  • Your name and how to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The number you phoned or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • What happened, and what outcome you want from us

After You Send It

We will confirm receipt by email, usually within a few business days. Then we will look into what happened. That may include contacting the provider. After that, we will write back with what we found and any steps we are taking.

Still Not Happy?

Reply and ask us to take another look. You can also go outside our process. Options include your state consumer protection office, your state attorney general or your local Better Business Bureau. For problems with licensed plumbing or septic contractors, your state licensing board or local health department may help too.
